Location: New York, US
Salary: $65-$70,000, based on experience
Full-time and based at the Time Out New York office, with 2 office days and 3 WFH days, flexibility offered.
Role Overview
The Local Marketing Solutions Account Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of local business customers once sold, focusing on helping them set up social, OOH, and digital campaigns, looking after up-sell opportunities and renewal across the lifetime of the campaign. This role in particular has an equal focus on retention and business development, balancing portfolio maintenance with strong new business elements, particularly in the local market. We want our team to be marketing consultants, helping businesses take advantage of Time Out solutions & expertise to succeed and the Account Manager is key to this success.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain ongoing relationships with clients to constantly reaffirm their engagement with our products.
Provide day-to-day support, resolving queries, requests, and complaints via phone, email, video, and in-person.
Activate client campaigns, enable accounts, and deliver training on product features, including the CMS and performance dashboard.
Work with clients to optimise their campaigns and demonstrate outstanding market knowledge to provide insight into client campaigns and ROI conversations.
Act as a first point of contact for resolving any issues which may affect the performance and retention of customer accounts
Ensure timely delivery of additional products according to client requirements.
Manage client subscription payment schedules accurately.
Maintain an accurate contact activity log for all past, current and future support tasks within the internal CRM system.
Maintain up-to-date activity logs in the internal CRM for all support tasks.
Work with Sales to identify upsell opportunities and expand client portfolios.
Provide regular updates on retention, client developments, and upsell opportunities
Skills & Experience
1-2 years experience in local digital advertising and/or account management
Strong commercial acumen is desired.
Knowledge of Microsoft and Google products.
Enthusiasm coupled with a great customer service ethic and strong problem solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work well under pressure coupled with good time management and multitasking skills.
Ability to manage results through others and maintain a positive, productive work environment.
Copywriting experience is a plus.
Familiarity with video production and basic editing skills is a plus but not required.
